I’m Maureen Peeters, an all-round visual storyteller based in the Netherlands. I’ve always been curious about the world around me. I love observing people, places and everyday life - finding interesting compositions, colours and details that might otherwise go unnoticed.

I believe there is a story in almost everything. A person, a place, a morning ritual, a busy street, a table full of people or a quiet moment in between.

Through photography and film, I want to capture those stories in a way that feels honest and personal. Not just showing what something looks like, but capturing what it feels like to be there.

 

My background in design has taught me to see the world through colour, composition, shape and detail. Photography has given me a way to turn that perspective into stories.
